Photo Journal: Fall Field Lab Fun!

Reid State Park: We started off our excursion in pouring rain, but by the time we arrived at Reid, the rain turned to a drizzle and we made our way to the sandy dunes and the rocky coast.

Running around the beach and chasing after herring gulls or looking for other species to observe.
Our wonderful natural history and ecology teacher, Megan, engaging with Beach grass and Beach pea.
This is the sole thriving species in the dunes.

Pemaquid Point: We had our field lab here after the tropical storm brought in storm surges and CRASHING waves.

We rehashed the day’s findings and other notes/ observations before GEOLOGY. This class ROCKS (you get it).

Just a typical science class at Maine Coast Semester.
