Course Registration & Placement Forms
Semester 77 (Fall 2026) students need to complete the Course Registration form, Learning Accommodations form and all applicable placement forms, as indicated below by May 1.
Semester 78 (Spring 2027) students need to complete the Course Registration form ONLY by May 1. All other placement forms will be due in October.
If you have immediate questions or concerns about courses, please contact the Maine Coast Semester Registrar, Kathryn Zumstein, at registrar@chewonki.org.
All students:
- Course Registration Form – filled out by all students
- Standardized Testing & Learning Accommodations – filled out by your academic advisor or guidance counselor (please send them the link) and required for all students (even if you do not receive learning accommodations)
Students who will be taking math at Maine Coast Semester:
- Math Placement Form – filled out by your math department chair if you will be taking any math class (please send them the link)
Students who will be taking a world language at Maine Coast Semester:
- World Language Placement Form – filled out by your current world language teacher if you will be taking French or Spanish (please send your teacher the link)
- French Language Placement Test – filled out by students who will be taking French (all levels)
- Spanish Language Placement Test – filled out by students who will be taking Spanish (all levels)
Pre-Semester Required Reading
The pre-semester required reading assignment is Robin Wall Kimmerer’s Braiding Sweetgrass. Details for the assignment are available on page 18-19 of the Student and Family Handbook.
