Emily Norris

A born and raised Mainer, Emily attended Waynflete for her high school years and went on to graduate from Wheaton College (MA) with a B.A. in Hispanic Studies. She soon returned to Maine, where she spent 6 years working in Social Services across a broad spectrum of community settings, focusing on serving children and their families. It was during this time that she discovered her love for working in schools.

Most recently, Emily worked at Waynflete School as the Enrichment Assistant, where she helped organize all Enrichment programs including afterschool, workshops, music instruction, and the Flyers Camp. Emily lives in Bath with her husband and 3-year-old son, and she can often be found knitting, reading, hiking, or digging around in her garden.
